What to expect
Root canal treatment removes infected pulp from inside a tooth. The canals are cleaned, filled and sealed to help retain the tooth. Local anaesthetic is normally used. Treatment may require several appointments, and a crown may be needed afterwards.
We discuss your symptoms, examine the tooth and explain any X-rays needed.
Discuss whether the tooth can be saved, the likely visits and your personalised costs.
The canals are treated and sealed, with a plan for the final restoration and follow-up.
